Le Refuge Étoilé

Chalet was as advertised. 3 floors, 4 bathrooms. Lots of cooking implements (pots, pans, flippers and the largest pasta strainer I’ve ever seen). BBQ was a Weber, full tank of propane. Hot tub was what you would expect from a chalet hot tub. Lots of parking. Outdoor fire pit was nice. Plenty of outdoor seating. The beach, is not much of a beach in terms of sand but had a nice park area with plenty of picnic tables and shallow water for a good 100 feet from shore. Lots of kayaks and life jackets. There is a nice rock to jump off of if you paddle towards the island in the middle of the lake. Would recommend.The pool. Nicely situated in the middle of a forested area, plenty of sun. Tennis and basketball court is there. Small playground for the kids. Lifeguard on duty at all times. Additional positives not mentioned in the posting: chalet is very close to a number of excellent Sepaq hiking trails. (Many within 5-10 minutes). One of the finest casse croutes I’ve ever visited, casse croute Queue de Cochon - 7 mins away.The only negative. In the posting, there is a picture of a sand volleyball area, with a pool, tennis courts and a couple of covered areas, on the lake. This image simply did not exist in real life as far as I could tell. Another traveller told us that it was “in another cabin complex” but given the layout of lac Superior and my ocd google map searching, I do not believe it exists. Should be removed from the rental posting imo. All in all, would recommend.

It’s a spacious house located inside a condominium perfectly situated near Mount‑Tremblant National Park and Mont‑Tremblant Village, which makes it easy to enjoy many outdoor activities in the area. The condominium has a pool and access to a private beach on Lake Superior for activities such as kayaking.The house is very well equipped; the kitchen is large and comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious, and overall the place is beautiful. The house has four large bathrooms, and everything was very clean. We also appreciated that the property is pet‑friendly.
