Crosswinds Retreat: Steps to Blue Mtn

Merci pour ce superbe séjour. La maison était parfaite et surtout lorsque nous avons eu des questions, nous avons obtenu des réponses en quelques minutes. Nous serons heureux d'y retourner l'an prochain!

The house was lovely, great size, good for large group. We just had four staying and our dog. We did encounter several things that needed to be addressed by the host. The oven in the kitchen was not very clean, which we realized after we used the airfry setting on the oven, and there was a huge plume of smoke that blew out when we opened the door, setting off the smoke alarm - good to know that was working! Contacted the host and they sent someone to clean the oven.The WI-FI only worked on the main floor, not upstairs which was annoying and apparently this is a known issue and there was nothing they could do to fix that.The BBQ was not the cleanest and the igniter didn't work - simple battery change and contacted the host and they has someone come and remedy that.The couch is not comfortable, like sitting on boards so that was disappointing. The TV had to be checked by someone as it stopped working and wouldn't stream anything, the host sent someone to fix that, afterwards it was good.There were a few things that needed attention so it made our stay rather cumbersome, the host was communicative and responsive to our requests for assistance.Would have been nice to have a privacy/noise fence to dampen the noise of traffic on the road, the house backs right onto Grey Road 19. Perhaps that is something that can be done for future to enhance the stay. The location is great, a 10 minute walk to Blue Mountain Village.
